The foundation is there. The progressive linear polyrhythms that help drive these songs are very compelling. The soundplay is beautiful, the tracklist is tight and compact, it just occasionally feels like some of the songs overstay their welcome. But this is a very VERY solid debut, that I KNOW will only lead to better projects from Bruno.
Great album, it's filled with beauty and really makes you sit back and appreciate what's at hand. Well composed and executed, well thought out and a great example of the musical potential in Portugal.
