This is indie rock at its most contemplative and tuneful with its apparent influences upon initial listen yet they never stray on the melodic side of things. Feels I was transported to the 90's all over again. I really like what what I've heard from this album so far.
The most adorably average album of the year.

Can average be cute? Uh huh.

I want to hold 'Remembering the Rockets' close to my bosom, stroke its little head and tell it "I love you, even if you're so very very average".

More Generic Indie Rock
Pretty much an indie rock album from 00's but in a more ambient/lo-fi direction and a cruel lack of power.

Their vocals distracts the listeners for digesting and understanding the lyrics and the instrumentation isn't enough varied. While I find this ambiance very nostalgic (because I like 00's era f
or indie rock), I don't see much repeating potential.
Still, it's better than a lot of indie rock albums this year but it's not that hard.
