A companion piece and a prequel to his previous release, La Onda de Juan Pablo, his latest feels an introduction to his body of work with that eccentric folk charm and field recording interludes paying homage to his Uruguayan roots. The soft, airy quality of his vocals paired with his warm guitar tones captures at most of homespun quality, from reverb-soaked acoustic tracks like Rubia and Mystery and the upbeat Letter plays at its most Beatle-esque and quirky. Psychedelic lo-fi indie folk which contains all possible genre's schemata. It's better than the previous issues and a couple of nice tracks can be found, but all in all it's bad.
