While it is often cheesy, being riddled with 80s synths and other trendworthh music fads of the time, it still contains a great list of tracks. Often times, the synths work fairly well, whether it creates an atmosphere, leads a melody, or is a rhythmic compliment. Alex Lifeson takes a step back in his contribution due to the synths, which is a bit disappointing, but when he is offered a chance to come out on the record, he does so very well with memorable riffs and powerful solos, the latter ... read more
I mean it's fine. It's not offensive or terrible. It's really lengthy and boring, and sort of falls short of what Rush can do musically. I really can't remember a single song off this thing.
