Goldlink showcases a lot of potential. Like Bishop Nehru, his release in 2014 foreshadows something artistically and lyrically sound on the horizon. Unlike Bishop, 'God Complex' is a pinnacle of creativity this year and charisma.

Goldlink is a rising american rapper that refuses the whole austhere, gangster-ostensible lyricism style, going for a more club-oriented direction, with way more upbeat tempos on his music (most courtesy of producer Louie Lastic) and sample-based quasi-house tracks that often obscure the emcee himself among dazzling synth-lines and shiny pop-beats the usually come up front in the production.
