Jean's best project to date. Real chill vibes

Favorite tracks: It's Whatever, Ackin Funny, Anytime, Break Time, Speakerphone
Least favorite: Higher Me
This EP is great. I was pleasantly surprised by how much more I liked this than her previous project. The production is top notch, and I think Jean Deaux has improved a lot as far as songwriting goes. One thing I will say is that I don’t think she really has the most distinctive style right now. Pretty different from Krash but still a great follow-up. I like the whisper vocals and the more rnb sound she explores on this. More cohesive and emotional though I miss the variety of Krash. Jean Deaux keeps showing different sides to her music and I'm excited to hear more.
Faves: Higher Me, Anytime
It seems Jean took the criticisms from her debut and really grinded them in for Empathy. From the cohesiveness of the artwork with the music, to the overall ambience. She clarifies her once whispery regions and shows maturity, range, confidence. I cant help but wonder where she will go next. This album was more RnB driven than the last, I’m not complaining.
