This is one of the albums of the year: completely out of left field and completely solid from start to finish.

The fact that all this noise comes from three guys is pretty phenomenal. Some of the songs are so chaotic that they sound like the wheels are about to fall off at any second, and the beauty is how close the band decides to tow that line.

Suffice to say, Menomena are a hugely creative band, and with I Am the Fun Blame Monster, they've managed to make an album that's extremely accessible yet entirely unconventional.

By E. Is Strong is was completely sold, this is a great album to listen to front to back, i think im just gonna love this more and more if i keep listening to it

Noisy, chaotic, groovy, and emotional can all be used to describe I am the Fun Blame Monster, an exciting experimental rock release.
Some of the songs feel like they are about to boil over, with crushing drums and moody instruments. Some songs are more relaxed, with chilled out instruments and happier melodies.
