It’s been two years since Snoh released her gorgeous debut album “Feels”, a 60's soul instrumentation full length record filled with great esque from hip hop old school and the contemporary r&b. since then, she released 'I Want You Around', til now, it’s probably her most successful single, and released three more singles promoting a new record, none of the other songs received the attention from the lead single and and she’s still not successfully close to the ... read more
Great follow up to "Feels". I miss the more melodramatic retro vibes of "Feels" but this a more grounded sound for Snoh and with no guest features, she does a great job of not tiring out the listener. Lovely production and vocals as expected with really great writing. Only dud was Charleville 9200 pt. 2.
Faves: Toronto, You, Nothing To Me
Snoh Aalegra has such an old soul that imparts neo elements.

Enter “argh - those feels again “ ( cool title ) and equally really cool songs . It has lush and grand arrangements with equally lush lyrics . I’m a sucker for choir sounds and she delicately inserts a choir much to my delight .

I fell in love with “I want you around “and then became obsessed and now it’s one of my fave songs ever . I love how it talks about the fleeting feelings of searching ... read more
This is one of my favorite R&B records of the last few years. Snoh has such a nostalgic sound to her voice and the smooth yet simple production suits it perfectly. It's definitely more modern sounding than her last full length album, but it still works great.

Favorite tracks: I Want You Around, Situationship, Whoa, Find Someone Like You, Toronto, Love Like That, Nothing To Me, I Didn't Mean To Fall In Love, Peace
Least favorite: -
Snoh isn’t as in pocket as when she had the spacey retro production from NO ID, but I can appreciate the polished tweak to the sound on this. Some real nice moments on here including some timely strings, keys and guitars that elevate the project. I can definitely take away a few gems, including “You” which is an amazing soundscape displaying a lavish longing with undertones of sorrow. Did that sound pretentious? Idc shit is hot
