Tove Lo’s fourth album sees the star largely stick the formula that made her successful in the first place, but that’s no bad thing: it features some of her best work in years as she boldly embraces new sounds and unusual collaborators.

The Swedish pop star’s fourth album contains some of her most vulnerable writing inside her clubbiest record.

It's sexy, raw, and honest — but above all, Sunshine Kitty is just really good dance music. Essentially, every song on this album would bring anyone to their feet.

As Lo puts her stamp on all of Sunshine Kitty's different sounds and emotions, there's a breeziness that hasn't been present in her music since Queen of the Clouds.

The Guardian

The Swedish star finds some illicit thrills on an edgy, intimate album that doesn’t quite have the courage of its convictions.

At Least She Has Some Nice Thighs
So Ebba Nilsson, known professionally as Tove Lo, is a Swedish artist that I have been on the lookout for for a pretty good amount of time. I discovered her from her two biggest singles, Habits and Talking Body, both from her debut that I have yet listened to, but from what I've heard, it sounds pretty cool. After she released her horrendously bad sophomores effort, Lady Wood. Some songs are bland to the point of being almost un-listenable, like WTF Love Is and Vibes. I still believe that ... read more
So... this new Tove Lo album is... uh... boring. Sunshine Kitty is a complication of mainstream music with no ambition or passion like her latest records. The Lyrical Content here is so empty and a lot of moments was cringe. At least she deliver a good sensation on the dance pop songs like 'Really Don’t Like U' or 'Jacques'. Unfortunately this is her worst album. predictable and mediocre record
*Get's in your face* Who TF said this album art sucks?

I always look forward to my drive to work on Friday mornings. Usually I have a new album in mind that I want to hear on my 25 minute drive, otherwise I see what the consensus of your collective idiot selves (I love you, I'm jp babe) is and I pick what looks interesting. I seen a lot of you guys were listening to the new Tove Lo and I very much enjoyed my morning. I think this enhanced my day (the most important meal of the day is ... read more
Probably rating this too high but I generally loved the production on this. A lot more relaxed than her previous work but the weakness in her writing and melodies is a lot more evident. It might grow on me or it might sound even worse after a few more listen not sure.
Faves: Glad He's Gone (great lead single), Are U gonna tell her?(reminds me of blue lips), Really don't like you (a bop)
