BAD
Yes’s most recent (and probably final) album left a bad taste in my mouth, kind of like Machine Head’s last album. It’s not very adventurous, and I don’t care much for it at all. If you want a good example of the final album from a classic prog band, just look at Clockwork Angels by Rush.
A strange mix between Yes and Owl City, the choice of adding a new singer and synth beats that could've come off a Wiggles VHS tape and lyrics worthy of a direct to video Brave Little Toaster sequel does not pay off. at all.
I wouldn't say this one is as big of a failure as most people are seeing this album as. But at the same time, it's not an underappreciated masterpiece either. Just a mediocre Yes album which unfortunately has the tag of being the last one featuring Chris Squire, who had been with the band all the way from the beginning.
