Honestly, all this album proves is that Pouya is one of the most versatile rappers in the game right now. His singing is actually pretty sweet and sultry at points, and when his rapping is intended to hit, it delivers. He just keeps proving himself worthy of using many rap styles, and that’s very, very commendable.

Nearly every track here is a tight example of how good southern hip-hop can sound, and while it's a relatively short album, he packs enough ideas into each track to keep the whole project sounding fresh throughout. Standout features from City Morgue, Ghostemane and Juicy J further propel this as one of the best hip-hop albums of 2019.

EDIT - Pouya added four tracks to the deluxe ... read more
