It's solid, but the production and performances don't necessarily feel as up to par as they were on the last album. I really do not enjoy the R&B features. Even BJ, who is normally money in these spots, is weak and uninteresting. Kinda weird to classify a 35-minute, 11-track project as an EP too, so I think he knows these aren't his best ideas either.

Nice EP to chill out to
Not that he was un-conscious before, but Black Milk’s DiVE is an entirely conscious hip hop and jazz EP. It’s really smooth and incredibly enjoyable to listen to. There isn’t a ton of originality on here which separated the rapper/producer from most in the past. DiVE also doesn’t seem to have a broad amount of effort put into it in comparison to his other recent work.
