I like a lot of his releases for their purity coming just from a place of being high as a mf and wanting to make chill ass raps, he never cared ab profit or gaining a huge audience and stuck to his wave, that being said this is not good at all. And merely 2 years ago he dropped a very solid album.

Over twenty years into his career, Devin The Dude delivers his best album yet again, topping 2017’s Acoustic Levitation.

It opens with “You”, a pretty underwhelming track with cheap, dated sounds (specifically the gliding, shimmering chords during the chorus) and an odd choice of a slight western aesthetic, before going on an incredible eight track run.
