Generally good album.The vocals took some time to warm to though. I guess it works since Sui Zhen adopts an AI alter ego for this album but it does feel monotonous on a few tracks. The jazzy/ bossa nova tracks are definitely my faves on this.

Beautiful moments, but surprisingly flat.
Sui Zhen's off-kilter style of pop is an endearing look into birth, family, and femininity as malleable concepts. losing, linda is kind of disappointing when compared to sui zhen's previous album, secretly susan, since it feels a lot more monotonous and less explorative than it, although there are a few genuinely great songs.
