I remember this was the first album by the group that I actually enjoyed front-to-back.

There's a nice mix of variety and energy spikes throughout, as the album just feels very animated and alive throughout; which makes sense given the context of its animated brother from Poet Anderson. It knows not to overstay its welcome and ends on a pretty high note (Anomaly is a pretty good song).
There is passion pocketed throughout the album, which is something A&A has been lacking since day one. The punk-infused voice with disjointed synthrock/space rock feels forced however.
1 or 2 songs are pretty good...the rest...
most creative, diverse, and impactful Album they've put out thus far. Mercenaries, Teenagers and rituals, and Anomaly are big standouts that we hadn't heard before today.
