Do you have this itch for some latter-day punk goodness that just won't dip out? Most probably not, given the A+ material that the scene's been recently putting down for the table. There are too many bands as of late that harbors a certain dazzle. Case and point, be it Protomartyr's stygian narratives, driven with extra doom, black midi's chaotic polyrhythms or IDLES' civilized angst. It's not that easy to try & deviate from what's been already created for originality points, but it's fun ... read more
Well hot damn these boys are onto something!

One of the most exciting up and coming acts in today’s punk scene for sure! This little EP has so much pizazz and character. All the ideas that they go for on this record are executed wonderfully and they seem to have a promising future ahead of them!

The vocals were a little lackluster but that is really the main area where improvement is needed, everything I hear on this EP is exceptional
WHOOOOO this EP kicks ass

I mean, the only thing I don't like about it is how short it is. While the 2 lighter cuts that bookend Town Centre are by no means bad - in fact, they're pretty great - I can't help but want more of the absolutely insane 2 tracks in the centre of the album. Pretty good effort from the British post-punk band, Squid. It just an EP of quality post-punk songs with exceptional instrumentations and vocals. The main tracks in the centre is incredibly enjoyable! Producer, Dan Carey has definitely worked with a lot of promising bands, including Squid. After the release of Narrator, their debut LP is definitely a hyped one.

Favorite Track : The Cleaner, Match Bet
Least Favorite Track : Rodeo

8/10 - Love It
holy fuck this album is so sick, first I would like to say thanks to @Chode for putting me on to this album. Growing up in England with a dad who grew up on sex pistols and inde pop and punk made this album sound so familiar. I definitely will be putting this into rotation
