Our good old Earth is in trouble and it's our fault.

From this sad observation, we can only hope that the court will be large enough to accommodate the 7 billion people who will be in the dock. And if you doubt humanity's guilt, you will at least recognize that it has been questioning itself a lot lately about the state of our beautiful blue planet, which is less and less beautiful and less and less blue, whether the septics like it or not.

Cattle Decapitation is a band that has been my absolute, complete favourite deathgrind band for quite some time now. Probably a good five or six years, pretty much from the minute I started listening to them. Their sixth studio album, 2012's Monolith of Inhumanity, is my all-time favourite deathgrind-prominent/heavy album, taking the spot just before Belgium's Aborted. there are nice interludes and nice melodic parts (including the clean vocal in many moments of the album) but the sound still remains the same in overall, tech death metal with ecologic and anthropological lyrics with the inclusion of misanthropic themes
but maybe the album could be too long and even boring for some listeners (mainly the ones not familiarized with metal)

I can't say I'm getting much enjoyment out of this thing. First off, I really don't like the production on this album. It's all so thin feeling. The song writing is all...fine? It sounds like Cattle Decapitation doing their thing. I do appreciate that their vocalist stands out a bit for the genre- he's got a good bit of variety but I can't say I'm in love with many of the choruses.
