Clear voice, absorbing folk songs, dreamy and catchy, almost forgotten but fortunately rediscovered, becoming kinda folk classic in during the 90s, Vashti Bunyan's debut and sole album for 35 years is a beautiful British folk gem.
First off, thanks @KawaiiBoyGirl for this rec, I really loved it, second off, WE MAKIN IT OUT OF SERFDOM WITH THIS ONE!!! So yeah, this was simply a really pleasant experience. It’s mostly like these pretty simple chamber folk songs that sound like classic English and Scottish folk songs kinda, apparently inspired by Bunyan’s traveling of Scotland by horse and wagon the year before she released this which makes sense.
