Fitz and the Tantrums continue their run of hooky pop offerings with 2019's infectious All the Feels.
Fitz and The Tantrums are at the point where all they know is cheeky and derivative pop songs that lack creativity. I wouldn't go out of my way to call this album bad by any means. It's just kind of plain and dull, making it hard for me to get a real strong opinion on this.
Fitz & the Tantrums somehow made a record more tasteless than their self-titled outing. The one saving grace of that last record was its crisp production and good mix job. All The Feels can't even accomplish that. Every song is so blown out and compressed that it puts Origins by Imagine Dragons to shame. It feels so manufactured and all the sounds become shrill.

There's selling out, and then there's this. Apparently, I was late to the party on the last album and failed to notice that they've been called sellouts at that time as well. While I do understand it now, that last album still had HandClap and a few other traces of the initial sound that they had at the beginning. This album is completely void of any soul.
