Building off of the warm and familiar sounds of their previous effort, Cranberry, Hovvdy fine tune their melodic pop ballads on Heavy Lifter. These songs elicit a kind of "friendly sadness" that creates a unique listening experience for it's audience. Combining elements of Low-Fi indie pop, slowcore rock, up beat Americana, and electronic pop Hovvdy have delivered their best release yet.
