Young Thug rarely leaves his comfort zone, but he’s able to add a melody, a flashy ad-lib, or a new flow that keeps the sound fresh and pushing toward new ground.
Strange and exciting as ever, So Much Fun touches on the various elements of Young Thug's unconventional appeal and also turns in some of his best material to date.
‘So Much Fun’ is a free-spirited record that comes with heavy doses of ridiculousness, but it’s lovably silly, and is a welcome dose of light relief.
So Much Fun popped up practically out of nowhere and to everyone’s surprise it’s debatably his best release thus far; and he knows it.
Although it may not be the best project that Young Thug has released, certain tracks off So Much Fun are guaranteed to become classic party anthems played at max volume for years.
So Much Fun represents what we might expect a self-titled album to represent: a distillation of Young Thug’s artistry up to this point in time.
So Much Fun succeeds in its quest to highlight the success of Young Thug; almost all of the 19 tracks could stand alone as a strong demonstration of what Thug does best, but they also work together to create a cohesive project.
The world's most inscrutable rapper, Young Thug makes clear what he's saying and where he stands on his most forthright release yet.
The album feels like a hinge, a turning point, for better or worse, as Thug has finally garnered the mainstream acceptance and exposure to match his talent.
As it happens, So Much Fun is pretty fun.
This album delivers on the title. Young Thug is someone who I would put as a wild card in my top 50 rappers list so naturally I was excited to listen to this. It was way different than what I expected from Thugger, and in a lot of ways reminded me of Die Lit.

Slow in the beginning, but damn does the second half deliver. Why would I expect anything less than amazing from Thugger, he's not at his best but this is not even close to his worst. Thug's flow on Cartier Gucci Scarf is one of the best things he's ever done imo.
fav tracks: What's The Move, I'm Scared, Cartier Gucci Scarf, Pussy, Mannequin Challenge
This is thugger's die lit. There are some weaker cuts but I understand he wants to up his streams. Amusing, fun project. Edit: Thugger didn't intend to experiment on this one, it's just for fun (as the title implies🙃). You can tell carti intrigued thugger to a certain extend.
Jajajajjaja, please don't feature gunna or Lil baby please don't feature gunna or Lil baby please don't feature gunna or Lil baby please don't feature gunna or Lil baby please don't feature gunna or Lil baby
Young Thug's attempt to make a fun album actually is a good, a load of tracks are turn up and clubby and it makes a good album for me to wake up to. It surprisingly doesn't seem like it drags out at any point, Thanks Young Thug, needed it.
