i can always tell when my mental health is starting to decline because I will start listening to this album religiously.

Grapefruit is probably one of the most heartbreaking songs I've heard period. Other stand out moments on this record are undoubtedly the "you didn't come to the funeral" on Divorce And The American South, the main character's interaction with a homeless man, and the moment in Carolina Coast in which the main character discovers the lilies have died. It's good, but it isn't really great. Not super memorable or outstanding, but goddamn is it emotional. Maybe I should relisten though... hmm...
