All these years later and I still can't look at this cover and not think of Joseph Goebbels. However, album art notwithstanding, the cover does hint at the arty cultured songs contained therein. Obviously not a critic fav, nor was it well received by the "casual" listener, fans of Roxy Music recognized the sophistication of Flesh + Blood easily. It is an improvement to their last rock but as stated in that review, i am not the biggest fan of this pop rock style their going for and prefer their glam rock albums but this is definitely better than Manifesto
