If you told me that The 1975 would realese a song akin to that of Marylin Manson mixed with Hardcore punk, I'd tell you to shit on my face gladly.
Now it is me with shit on the face. And boy do I look stupid.
A very good, and extremely unexpected change of direction for a band that I am finding more interesting with each subsequent release. The 1975 are a band that are willing to experiment and be bold, and for that I respect the shit out of them
Holy fartsharks! This is quite the unexpected change of pace from their last album! They really just followed up a speech on climate change on top of an ambient instrumental with a hardcore garage punk song, huh?
