A glorious return to form from Allen on this his third album. Critics suggest that his songwriting is too familiar with that of other artists of the early seventies, but when you have an ear for melody and the raspy voice he has been blessed with, why should his self-recognised gravitation to this musical era be a means as to why his own talents go unlauded.
