SEVENTEEN being active until this day is Pledis Entertainment's biggest error. Burying their biggest girl group acts like After School and PRISTIN will soon bring them to their demise. "An Ode" is still a thing, though - a recent thing, and my curiosity forced me to try this out.

My curse with boy groups is the same every time: Almost everything sounds the exact same. Every song, from every act. The same dumb electropop music with "bad boy" vibes and lyrics about pretty ... read more

Absoloutely album of the year for me. Not a hint of doubt.
I can confidently say Seventeen (along with NCT) are the only boygroups I trust to deliver electronic music like real kings.
Jihoon is a genius producer, do not be fooled by only the title tracks.
I would also like to pay specific attention to the track HIT: not every group can pull it off. A simple yet very difficult concept.
An Ode is Seventeen's best album and the best kpop release of 2019.

Well that was ordinary. Nothing stood out as bad but it's probably one of their most forgettable releases for me.
