'Dream Girl' is a canvas spattered with a thousand colours, as Anna of the North experiments with a spectrum of sounds and moods.

at its worst, this album sounds like something out of one of those generic millennial commercials, but at its best, it's very heartwarming and easy to listen to.

Nice follow up to Lover. Love how warm and airy her sound is on this album. Generally songs on love but with a more enthusiastic and hopeful look even when things aren't working out. There are few duds but still pretty consistent.

In this project, Anna sticks to what she knows which is a good indie soft pop music, honestly I wish this could be a little better, but that's fine maybe she's still finding herself as an artist, but some songs like 'Time To Get Over It' & 'Playing Games' are bangers...

Anna of the North has an ethereal sound that reminds me of Florence Welch. She does well with illustrating the highs and lows of a relationship. There is steady progression throughout the album that makes it feel more intimate and personal. I especially like “Lonely Life” which takes an optimistic view of the breakup by reflecting on the simple joys of life.
