So, I've finally made it to the most notorious album released by Judas Priest. The album that is deemed their worst release by many, with almost everyone calling it just as embarrassing as Black Sabbath's Forbidden, Iron Maiden's Virtual XI, and even Metallica's St. Anger. And the verdict is... this is just as bad as everyone says it is.

Epic, fantastic, underrated and missunderstood
With their 16th studio album, Priest create a rock opera double album about the life of Nostradamus. Sounds cool on paper right? Well the band execute the idea so poorly that they ended up creating one of the worst albums of their career. For starters, it doesn't need to be a double album. 9 of the 23 tracks are useless interludes, so remove those and you've got a 14 track album, and then take away the filler tracks and you'd be left with a much shorter and more digestible album. The groups longest record yet, if I'm not mistaken. I will admire this album heavily for it's ambition. Each track flows to next track very well, and the sounds on this record feel fully realized to me; there is a very nice selection of diversity in sound as well. But, this doesn't really do much for me, I wasn't kept with wide attention to the music as much as any other record from them, I was sorta bored. There isn't much on here that is memorable anyways.
