The greatest compliment it can be paid is that it sounds like no time at all separates it from its predecessor. It's another fine album of gently joyous country songs.

The last album of the decade that I've had eager anticipation for.
Rather curiously, the two lead singles (At The Back of the Pit & In Good Faith) from IMAD appear on a separate 7", although its easy and fitting to just tack them onto the end of the 13 track album. A nice mix of bouncy country songs and more straight on acoustic folk tunes. Oldham seems a bit happier, but no less weird and still aware of our own mortality.
