I mean, it's punchy, it's taking risks and it's trying something new and interesting. It's pretty much the best track to come out of the 'Three Housemen of the Apocalypse' that I was expecting. It's got great energy, has punchy production and its catchy as hell. Overall, this doesn't disappoint.

The verses sound like actual dogshit tho. And what the fuck is this album cover? It looks...bad.

It sounds as if they're pandering to the American Idiot crowd while taking influence from acts like Portugal The Man. (Oooh oooooh I'm a rebel just for kicks now.) Making Billy sound like Jack White and adding a few punchy riffs doesn't cover up their inherent laziness. A pinch of old trends and a dash of the new ones. It's going to sell, and nostalgia is forgivable, but perhaps we're a little too respectful to our elders with "Father of All".
This sounds like a song you’d hear in a car advert. Seriously though, this is actually pretty good. The verses kinda remind me of some Mutemath stuff which is always good, but it sounds absolutely nothing like Billie Joe at that part, which is also very off-putting. I was hoping a new Green Day single would be the thing I needed to finally enjoy this band. Guess I'm still in the minority. Yeah, they still don't do it for me, even when they're trying to do a more lo-fi sound. The chorus is tedious and annoying, and Billie's vocal performance is still pretty aggravating, although much less irritating than usual due to the distortion on his voice.
