i am absolutely sick that this passed by me last year. Kojey comes out with his most cohesive project to date with each track being stuck in your head with just how powerful each one is and ends on one the highest notes with "Last Night". Kojey is someone that needs to be on everyone's radar

BIIIIIIIG year for British Rap. Kojey Radical has honestly crafted one of my favorite albums of 2019 with Cashmere Tears. It is hard to pigeonhole this album into one particular genre. There are elements of jazz, soul, R&B, along with spoken word, grime, and melodic ballads. The album could certainly be construed as 'one-note', as there are multiple songs that take advantage of syncopation and chamber orchestrations that culminate into a jazzy, R&B sound. This album is gorgeous, it has a funky/jazzy feel to it that makes it sound like a funnier version of an album like TPAB. The classic instrumentals give it a unique feel that not a lot of his contemporaries have, This album is a gem, one of the best things i've heard from UK rap ever.
2020 is one of the best singles of the year, so catchy, funky and classy but yet a banger, it makes me want to jump off a window in a good way.
