A tale of turmoil, love and everything in between, Kojey Radical's extraordinary new project might even inspire a funk renaissance.
BIIIIIIIG year for British Rap. Kojey Radical has honestly crafted one of my favorite albums of 2019 with Cashmere Tears. It is hard to pigeonhole this album into one particular genre. QUICK THOUGHTS: It's a beautiful thing. One moment you're scrolling through the "Under the Radar" tab, one moment you're writing the review for one of the best hip/hop albums of 2019. I've never heard of Kojey Radical before today, but after listening I feel like I know the man. Deeply personally and brilliantly written. Blends Funk, UK Rap, Trap, Jazz, and R&B with the perfect proportions. Everything sounds silky smooth and expertly crafted. Don't miss out on this one.
