Some of us have been listening to Cohen for all our lives and will continue to do so as his extraordinary songs light up a path to our inevitable end. It is so good to hear that voice again. Thanks for the dance, Leonard.

I have no interest in hearing the songs Leonard kept to himself and didn't intend for his audience. Fucking hate these executive vultures who keep milking deceased musicians' legacies for every drop of money they can get their hands on. When you die, your licensing contracts should be null and void for the rest of time.

Let me start by saying, if you take issue with these kinds of albums at least make sure you have your facts straight prior to completely shutting down the works provided. If you aren't pleased to know that you can hear the voice of Leonard Cohen, a legendary artist and exceptional songwriter, one last time then you're the one missing out in the end. With the help of his son and many of his close musical collaborators throughout the years, Leonard Cohen transcended death and brought us one last batch of incredibly gripping and poignant songs to ruminate on, those of which rivaling any artists’ best work put out while they were still alive.
