Exploring themes of self, memories and change through a personal lense, the album occasionally balances Watt's voice and defiant attitude with rich-bodied instrumentation producing a reverberating atmosphere. But the albums slags in the middle where Watt's voice feel dislocated and wierdly produced, resulting in a forgettable experience.

Ben Watt's newest album, Storm Damage is a solid little Indie Rock album where his voice is the commanding driving force of the album and showcase his talent but ultimately this album doesn't blow me away that much. It is a solid record but it just not as memorable nor as impressive as some critics make out.
