I had literally no expectations going into this. Josh Homme is absolutely one of my favorite musicians of the 21st century, but for whatever reason I’d never had any interest in the Desert Sessions, largely due to a lack of refinement in what I had heard. I thought for a moment that this would be pure stoner, my surprise a recopliatory that the real thing that this is, a spontaneous session. Great featurings, original and fresh ideas still with the feeling that the something is uncompleted. Crucifire fuking great song
