In gloomy times Oasis have remembered how to cheer us up. What else, really, are pop groups for?

Their fifth is a step up from the previous two tossers.

For those who rightfully believed that Oasis was a great band in the mid-'90s -- when Noel had so many great songs, they spilled over to three B-sides per single -- it's hard not to find this album kind of disappointing.

Heathen Chemistry also takes the time to cop riffs and progressions from previous Oasis hits.

The fifth studio album by the British rock band Oasis, whilst their weakest attempt, I still feel that it isn’t really a bad album, and it definitely has its highlights. The Hindu times is the opener, it has a good instrumental, but Liams vocals leave a lot to be desired. Force of nature and hung in a bad place I remember being ok songs, but i cannot remember a single thing about them. Stop crying your heart out is well, stop crying your heart out. There’s a reason it’s as big ... read more
