I was kinda excited for this album but damn it disappointed me. Everything on this album sounds nice but it really never amounts to anything. I just sits in the background being "Dynamic" and "Grand". "Offset" and "Dissident Gardens" are good highlights. They are a bit more memorable than most of the other songs on this album. Mediocre Album.
Not their best work as a final material, but certainly their most refined work for a structural matter. Songs such as "Dissident Gardens" and "Immediately Visible" are extremely sinesthesic, giving the listener unique experiences of music. Memory Streams is just one of the reasons that 2019 is a great year in world music, mainly to instrumental music, and stands by as one of the most interesting nujazz albums of past years - alongside the other last two works from the band.
