Much needed improvement from his previous efforts, finally coming into his own on Aftermath in the pop rap lane. Might be a tad bit over-produced, but fuck it I can't get too mad when it's an upward trend of improvement from the stretch of mid Busta started the 00's with. I LIKED WHEN HE STARTED RAPPING WITH A SHOVEL.
Dre taking control of Busta's album worked well. Lyricism not Busta's best here but production was top notch
Original review: Overall, this is a solid album and as far as the inconsistent Busta goes, it's probably up there for the most tracks with replay value partly due to Dre providing some good production, that sound a bit like what Jay got on Kingdom Come. 'Don't Get Carried Away' with Nas is one such Dre beat, and is the standout with Nas stealing the show.
