I have to say Mrs. Trunchbull's songs are very good because of cartoonishly weird they are, but the protagonists are bland as wood. The singing is very meh to subpar and when it's just kids. Oh no.

Matilda the Musical has always held a special place in my heart ever since I saw it on Broadway, and now I have the absolute privilege of performing it for my senior year of high school as Mr. Wormwood.
