Cello Metal? I'm 100% not on board for this!

Typical for Apocalyptica, Cell-0 is never more than mildly diverting. The instrumentation has always been impressive - but until they can draw the focus off of the cellos and onto a greater purpose, it'll never seem like more than a gimmick.

This is kind of cool for the first track and then I want nothing more but for it to stop. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.

I Knew Apocalyptica could make an album like this without the assistance of guest vocalists,
and the way they can almost make the cello sound like a guitar at times is impressive,
plus this would fit a GOT/LOTR soundtrack.
best tracks: Cell-0, En Route to Mayhem, Catharsis & Beyond the Stars.

An impressive display of musical prowess, but ultimately found myself quickly tuning out.
