YUNGBLUD is showing real artistic progression here. This is much better than the album he released recently
It's like a young Alex Turner decided to make a childish emo EP that succumbs to every cringey cliché in the book. I respect the activist message to an extent but sonically it's really not for me.

Favourites: waiting on the weekend
Least Favourites: braindead, casual sabotage, parents
Derivative, dull, overwrought, shallow, these are just some of the many negative adjectives I could use to describe this rubbish. Yungblud is probably one of the worst artists working right now. Anything decent about this EP is the result of things he himself did not do (ie the production). I'd be lying if I said I didn't kinda like some of this, but most of it is pretty vomit worthy, so goddamn on the nose about it's themes. Also a few songs sound like he's ripping off Arctic Monkeys and Lil Peep.
Majority of it is pretty garbage.
