You know that artist you just discovered who at first you think made only these grand pieces on life, and then you find out he mainly painted dicks. Yeah, that's kinda this album.

Some of the most adept conscious rap of the time, he has a great grasp of the concepts and themes he utilizes and rarely sounds out of his depth. Bonus points for him having been Lin Manuel Miranda's childhood bully who then got introspective and socially aware.

Immortal Technique is a rapper I only really knew one song from (Dancing With The Devil). I decided to give his debut album Revolutionary Vol 1 a listen because I think that Dancing With The Devil is one of the best hip hop songs ever made. I was not dissapointed with this album.
