This is a huge improvement from what I last heard from Yung Schmoobin. Usually Yung Schmoobin falls into the category of rappers who want to be funny but aren't and that was a problem I had with rating or enjoying his music. However this single makes it pretty clear that it's a more serious song and if that is what they were going for it worked. When I first heard Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat, I thought this song's inclusion in the tracklist was a bit redundant and unnecessary. While I still consider it the weakest on the album, it's at least grown on me a little bit. I feel like Schmoobin is holding back during his verse, despite seemingly making an attempt to go a bit harder than usual.
