Poliça have always been masters of twisted, left-field pop music, but ‘When We Stay Alive’ predictably arrives with a new level of clarity and power.

For a record born from a second chance at life, When We Stay Alive sounds disenchanted with its own message.

A moody, atmosphere-charged return from Channy Leaneagh fronted band, Poliça that at turns throbs and aches with heavy bass, synth-driven passages and glitch-ridden tangibility evoking immediacy and cathartic release which runs through the track-list. A good one here and demands some attention.
The vocal effects makes some of her lyrics impossible to understand on the earlier tracks but the 2nd half doesn't have that problem as much and was a pleasure to listen to. Generally really great production and melodies makes this nice to listen to.
Faves: Steady, Forget Me Now, Sea Without Blue
Achei um bom álbum, mas ele vai dando uma decaída do meio pro final, as músicas parecem que são as mesmas.

This album is helping through tough times. Thanks
I love the soundscapes that POLICA create.
I absolutely love Channy Leaneag's voice, her voice is so precious.
I mostly like POLICA's singles more than there deep cuts, but I enjoyed this album a lot.
The song that didn't motivate me was Blood Moon.
Positives- I love how soothing this album is and feels.
My thoughts might change over time, but as of now I am excited.
