A fun and hugely listenable album, and an enjoyable experience throughout. Little Richard’s debut will always be remembered in the world of music.
Born at the end of 1932 in Georgia, in a large religious family, Little Richard is an emblematic figure of the 50s, one of the most influential R&B and Rock n Roll singer and musician of the time. He also distinguished himself by his extravagance and live performances as Elvis Presley. His name Lil Richard comes from his small size but also because he has a deformity of one leg which gave him this atypical appearance and gait. Little Richard's impact on the world of R&B and music at large cannot be understated, yet while this record is full over well-performed and fun tracks i can't help but feel like when it comes to this alone as an album, there's just better stuff out there.

It's really fucked up that before we could complete this, two of the people on this list DIED. Like that's fucked up. I always hated making reviews for people who recently died who I wasn't a fan of. Because if you don't like the album it always follows some stupid formula like "R.I.P. Little Richard, his music meant so much to do many people….this album IS SHIT FUCK ASS SHIT!!!"

Luckily, I don't have to do that, because this album is amazing.
