Little Richard's impact on the world of R&B and music at large cannot be understated, yet while this record is full over well-performed and fun tracks i can't help but feel like when it comes to this alone as an album, there's just better stuff out there.

It's really fucked up that before we could complete this, two of the people on this list DIED. Like that's fucked up. I always hated making reviews for people who recently died who I wasn't a fan of. Because if you don't like the album it always follows some stupid formula like "R.I.P. Little Richard, his music meant so much to do many people….this album IS SHIT FUCK ASS SHIT!!!"

Little is needed to make a strong case about Little Richard's pioneering in R&R. The Architect showcases nothing short of that on his debut LP. His vocal performances are as energetic and electrifying as his stage presence. Not to mention how interesting his writing is compared to what most people were doing back then.
