Very fun album. Filled with so much energy, liveliness and character with some catchy choruses and awesome jazz instrumentation to boot

By 1956, Louis Prima was already building a huge career, a great all-round artist, swing jazz singer/musician and actor with a career spanning almost 30 years. Coming from a family of Italian origin, Louis was very young and passionate about music, inspired in particular by Louis Armstrong. He launched himself into jazz and became a professional musician in 1928 at the age of 18. He began playing in several orchestras as a musician and played in many concerts and performances.

bouncy, upbeat , catchy and fun . this record was supposed to emulate seeing louis live , and it does that greatly and takes you back to a time we’ve never been too, but does so without feeling dated. lots of personality to keep you on your feet the whole time. i enjoyed it a lot !
