FOR CONTEXT: I'm trying not to take this stuff too seriously. This is Green Day's last album on longtime label Reprise records. After this it's said they'll go independent. To me, Father of All seems like a big middle finger to reprise and that's why I really don't care about how bad it sucks. It's just for fun. And in pure entertainment value I enjoy it so far. It sucks, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

A very generic song, and quite a disappointment too, considering that I actually enjoyed (and still do) the first single. The production is trying to be way too poppy, even for a band like Green Day, and having a garbage chorus doesn't help it.

Yep, this album is gonna fucking suck. This is the most generic early 2000s pop punk song that one of the most generic sounding early 2000s pop punk bands has ever put out. This literally sounds right at home on a fucking tv commercial. Seriously, what in the actual fuck is this? Are they actually being serious with this? Are they genuinely trying to be taken seriously? ARE THEY ACTUALLY GOING TO BE PUTTING THIS ON AN ALBUM?!?!
