That she was able to spin emotional stakes out of such basic subject matter as her bass-playing bestie and love for '90s alt-rock, coupled with the sheer speed of her progression as a songwriter, suggests big things to come.

Bea channels some 90's sound but also some of the female-fronted acts that have become popular recently (Diet Cig comes to mind). Not much to say besides its really good, and there some really great song-writing. Also liked a lot of the guitar riffs throughout. Oh, and there's a contribution on the title-track from..... Me.
Guess on that point, I'm obligated to love it.

Beabadoobee's sound isn't really out of the ordinary, but "Space Cadet" is a good, rough-around-the-edges indie rock EP with some decent songwriting and pretty good production. Also, Matt Healy plays guitar on a couple of tracks. That's cool.

The title track is okay, but this EP is quite boring. It's kinda cute, but is definitely nothing special.
