Omar Souleyman's "Shlon" just kinda popped out of nowhere and since I had nothing else I wanted to review for today, I just kinda put it on, and it's one hell of a bop. The combination of electric elements and Omar's Syrian instrumentals is compelling the whole way through this album's relatively tight runtime along 6 decently-sized tracks. just a normal wedding music for middle east. not a big deal. overrated
Syrian wedding music through the psychedelic keyboard work with fast riffs that get stuck in your head. Powerful song in the middle to break up the celebration.
