The great thing about this group are their lyrics. Indigoism absolutely had better production, not to say that Cellar Door's isnt great, its simply much less impacting and memorable. Thematically they're still solid, even if sometimes verging pretty far from the central ideas.
The Underachievers are some of my favorite new rappers, and I was highly anticipating this album. Now that it's out, I have to say I enjoyed it but not nearly as much as Indigoism. Favorite tracks include Chrysalis, Radiance, Incandescent, Metropolis, Felicity, and Amorphous. Fantastic release, but I think I over-hyped it too much.
"Term to Commence" yes, I researched that. Underachievers continue to impress with their lyrical virtuosity. Even though their philosophical sentiments of elevating the youth's mindset are noble but still blurry. Cellar Door is more subtle than their previous two efforts but still cloaked in the psychedelic aura of its predecessors.
