Old time psychedelic band Six Organs of Admittance return with another moss covered adventure. An underrated release, Companion Rises delivers to fans and new listeners alike a desert-tinged guitar trance. Drift away to places you haven't been since your early 20s. Go to the caves of thinking and be ready to immerse yourself in peat. "Haunted and Known" is the best song on the album.

Very curious record.

Six Organs Of Admittance come back with their newest psychedelic folk record, Companion Rises, and it is a good release. Nothing too special on this album, the lyrics are quite basic and nothing special, the production is okay but can be a bit messy and the guitar work is simplistic but some what effective. Companion Rises is not a special record, it is an album which is enjoyable to listen to randomly when you are least expecting it.
